Start in test mode
Create an account and a test key in a minute. Test checks are free and answer from fixed test identities, so you can build every path.

Integrate one endpoint
One request per check, with the customer’s consent attached. Every request carries an idempotency key, so a retry never runs or charges twice.

Go live after review
We review your business and what you’ll use checks for, then switch on live keys. Live checks draw from a prepaid balance.
Match a person against national records.
You tell us who your customer says they are. We tell you whether the record agrees. You get match results, not the person’s record.

Identity data is sensitive. These rules hold for every request, for every business.

Consent on every request
Each check names how and when the customer agreed, and for what purpose. Requests without it are refused.

Minimum data
Identity numbers are never stored, only a keyed hash and the last two digits. You get match results; the record itself is not returned or kept.

Fair billing
Retries with the same idempotency key replay the first answer. If the identity source can’t answer, you aren’t charged.

Approved purposes only
Each business is approved for specific uses, such as customer onboarding. Checks for anything else are refused.

Separate test and live keys
Test keys never touch real records. Live keys work only after review, and every key can be revoked instantly.

An audit trail
Every check, key change and sign-in is recorded with who did it and when, for your records and ours.
